Evidenced Based Care
My clinical work is grounded in the responsible use of evidence-based psychological treatment. Evidence-based practice means that treatment decisions are made collaboratively, integrating the best available research with clinical expertise and your individual goals, preferences, and clinical needs.
I maintain an active commitment to ongoing advanced professional training to ensure that the care I provide reflects current best practices in clinical psychology. I am a Board-Certified Clinical Psychologist (Diplomate) through the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP). ABPP certification represents advanced training, rigorous peer review, and demonstrated competence at the highest professional standards, and is held by a small percentage of licensed psychologists.
This foundation allows me to offer thoughtful, individualized care using well-established and emerging evidence-based approaches, while remaining attentive to fit, collaboration, and ethical practice.
I am licensed as a psychologist in applicable jurisdictions and provide telepsychology services as a PSYPACT authorization holder, allowing for the delivery of services across participating states and territories in accordance with PSYPACT requirements.

I provide trauma-informed, evidence-based treatment for a wide range of trauma experiences, including military and veteran trauma, first responder trauma, sexual trauma, childhood trauma, and relationship or attachment-based trauma.
My trauma treatment approach draws on well-established, evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Prolonged Exposure Therapy (PE), Written Exposure Therapy (WET), and attachment-based and relational approaches. Treatment is collaborative and individualized, with careful attention to pacing, safety, and your specific history, symptoms, and goals.
By tailoring trauma therapy to each individual, my work focuses on reducing the impact of trauma-related symptoms while supporting emotional stability, improved functioning, and meaningful progress toward recovery.

My approach to individual therapy is highly collaborative and individualized. We work together to clarify your goals, identify practical steps toward those goals, and support meaningful and sustainable change over time.
My clinical work is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and informed by current research on effective psychological treatment. Depending on your needs, I integrate additional evidence-based and trauma-informed approaches to ensure that therapy is responsive to your unique experiences, preferences, and clinical presentation.
Individual therapy is tailored to address concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma-related symptoms, and life or relationship stressors, with an emphasis on improving functioning, emotional regulation, and overall quality of life.

Couples therapy begins with a comprehensive assessment of relationship functioning using tools developed by the Gottman Institute. This structured assessment helps identify relationship strengths while also clarifying patterns and areas that may benefit from focused attention and change.
My primary approach to couples treatment is Gottman Method Couples Therapy, with thoughtful integration of Psychobiological Approach to Couples Therapy (PACT) and Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT) as clinically appropriate. Treatment is collaborative and tailored to the specific needs of each couple, including those navigating trauma histories, relationship injuries, or challenges such as infidelity.
Couples therapy is designed to improve communication, strengthen emotional connection, and support healthier, more effective relationship functioning.
